new play: the shoe shine shop

On Tuesday, I had the privilege of working with some heavy hitters— 7 phenomenal actors— for a closed table read my latest play, THE SHOE SHINE SHOP at the @detpubtheatre. I am BEYOND grateful for the entire cast — @mariemuh46 (NINA), @henrifranklin (LAZARUS), @benwilldetroit (JAYBIRD), @mrantoinemckay (WASH SPRADLEY), @jesseboydwilliams (JEDIDIAH), @willbry1 (FENCE) and @chriscorpccs (WOODFORD). These folks are truly DYNAMIC; their commitment to the characters and the words on the page truly moved me deeply. A magical night. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
